The Truth

 

the truth
stings my eyes
that are
overflowing with tears
that are
running down my cheeks
that are
flushed with anger
because i am
enveloped in shame
and
hating myself
for
being so stupid
for
allowing my heart
to
disguise a lie
that i believed
to be
the truth
