Heart Stopping Action
Tom Cravens

Wes (James McAvoy) is a timid office cube worker, afraid of so many things; including his boss.

The Fraternity

While Wes is shopping in a local drug store, someone shoots at him. This is when we are introduced to Fox (Angelina Jolie) who saves Wes’ life and then recruits him into ‘The Fraternity.’ It is a thousand-year-old group of assassins, whose mission is to assassinate targets who are viewed as possible threats to mankind.

Sloan (Morgan Freeman) tells Wes his father was a member of ‘The Fraternity,’ and was hunted down, and murdered by Cross (Thomas Kretschmann).

He also learns that he has inherited his fathers’ reflexes, making Wes the only person that can kill Cross.

The Weaving Factory

Wes is taken to a training area inside a weaving factory and taught, through brutal beatings and torture, how to gain control over his body and reflexes.

One of the abilities he has to achieve is to shoot a gun and have the bullet curve around an obstacle in order to hit its intended target.

A Thrilling Chase

When Wes is finally given the information he needs to track down and kill Cross, he sets out on a heart-stopping chase to avenge his father. Once Wes has succeeded with his assignment, Fox is given orders to kill Wes.

This is a no holds barred, all out action movie. You will see car stunts and fight scenarios that are magnificent. The fight scene between Wes and Cross on a speeding train is totally unexpected. The ending is perfect and surprising. This film slaps the viewer up alongside the head.
