Johnny Depp Filming New Movie

Great News, we are going to get to see Johnny Depp up on the big celluloid screen again. Been to long, Johnny, we’re jonesing for you, buddy.

Anyway, this looks to be a good one. They are making Bruce Robinson’s The Rum Diary in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. No, it’s not anything to do with Captain Jack’s rum.

This is a film set in the 1950s centered around a newspaper office. Depp plays Paul Kemp and from what I hear, looks great in 1950s era clothing.

No surprise there.

No word yet on when it will be done and released, but they haven’t been shooting too many days.

Depp said he loves Puerto Rico, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Welcoming.
