About Us
Janet Adrian Hink, Interior Decorator
Farm Girl with Style
I am the middle child of five girls; a farm girl who grew up in small town Minnesota. My graduating class size from sixth grade country school was two…and yes I walked to school most days!
I started decorating at the age of eight-years-old! When the baby chicks moved out of the chicken coop it became MY space (not too many years before MySpace became popular—do you think they copied me?). I cleaned it, painted it, hauled in outcast furniture and hung curtains. It was my first miniature home and I loved the creativity of decorating…from then on, was completely hooked!
Finished school for Interior Design and started my business twenty-seven years ago. Am so blessed to be able to work at what brings joy every day.
I am married to my best friend Randy. We have two awesome grown children, a wonderful daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandkids.
What You Can Look Forward To
Recently Dawn Bonner (the editor of Boomer Style) and I reconnected at our high school reunion. We caught up on what we have been doing since graduation. Bonner asked me if I would be interested in writing for her magazine and of course I said yes (of course she would have twisted my arm otherwise). Am excited to write a seasonal article on interior design for Boomer Style and hope it assists you keeping your abode fresh and interesting.
