Daniel Whitney

Creative, a Master and a Jarhead

Daniel Whitney is a contributor to Living Life…Boomer Style in several different areas.  He has photographed for the magazine (Sylvia Browne photographs), gives opinions for articles and models for photographs.  The modeling thing goes against his grain–what we do for love.  He enjoys travel and sponsors many of the trips for the travel section.  He aslo assists me (Dawn Bonner) on many of my sojourns for the magazine.

California Native and Jarhead

Whitney is a native of Vallejo, California and except for a few years has stayed in the Bay Area.  He was stationed in San Diego when he was in the Marines and he tried unsuccessfully to make his home in Montana–too darned cold and too much snow for his liking.

Talented with his Hands

He is a talented cabinet maker and creates incredible china cabinets, built-ins and book cases.  His work is of the old world.  When he builds pieces–the clients  get family heirlooms that will be passed on down through the generations.

Opinionated is Good

He is opinionated and not afraid to voice his opinions either.  And, he especially loves to shake that finger when he is making his opinion perfectly clear, which makes him great fun for a writer.
