Our Why: In under ten years this Boomer Hot has sold 74 million books, of which, 42 are NY Times bestsellers.  He is just as prolific with charities as he is with writing books: Horatio Alger Scholarships, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Operation Smile, Oceana, March of Dimes, Covenant House, and Childhelp USA are a few of his charity interests.

Linda Najeeb HalabyAugust 23, 195158 “The sheer folly of trying to defend a nation by destroying all life on the planet must be apparent to anyone capable of rational thought. Nuclear capability must be reduced to zero, globally, permanently. There is no other option.”

Michael Clarke DuncanDecember 10, 1957 51
“I never looked at the race issue… But, here I was, I was working with the top! I guess my mind just didn’t go there. I just thought, man, my bills are gonna be paid, I am out of debt… Really, the film is about this: you can’t judge a book by its cover, and that’s the main thing that people do with John Coffey. And me too.”
Our Why: Beautiful man, beautiful actor, and thoughtful.
Liza DonnellyMay 12,  195554 “As E.B. White wrote, “The world decorates its poets with laurels and its wags with Brussel sprouts….” (I am paraphrasing because I am too lazy to go look it up for the exact quote). Humorists get no respect.”
