Boomer Hot 61 – 70

Eve Ensler May 25, 1953 56	“We focus on fixing our bodies. We spend $40 BILLION a year on beauty products. What if we actually took that money, took that time, took that energy and started fixing the world? Women would actually be in power.”
Our Why:	She made it interesting, poignant, funny at times, heart rending the next; Eve Ensler is the only person to talk of Vagina without being triple X rated.
Ethan Coen September 21, 1957 51	“The mountain music…is compelling music in its own right, harking back to a time when music was a part of everyday life and not something performed by celebrities.”
Our Why:	Interesting films–we love the fact that they are not written with a ‘formula’ giving us the unexpected from something expected.
Frances McDormand June 23, 1957 52	“The fact that I’m sleeping with the director may have something to do with it.”
Our Why:	She can play funny, silly, not too bright, to smart and clever–Frances McDormand needs to be used in lots more movies–an incredible actor.  She’s part of the reason we love the Coen brothers so much. Thank you Frances.
Eugene Levy December 17, 1946 62	“I think I’m the only actor in the history of film who got to slap Sam Jackson on the face and butt and lived to tell about it.”
Our Why:	“I am the common man. I’m polite, I love my family and I play by the rules. And sometimes I get pushed around. That’s my lifestyle, and that’s what I try to bring to characters.” Which is exactly why we love him!
Glenn Close March 19, 1947 62	“When they tested Fatal Attraction, the audiences were so upset by her behavior, they literally demanded her blood.” “With the hugely talented women I’ve worked with or observed, it’s not a question about temperament or ego; it’s a question about getting it right. If they’ve got a reputation for being difficult it’s usually because they just don’t suffer fools.”
Our Why:	Whether it is Fatal Attraction or 101 Dalmations–every character Glenn Close plays becomes a classic.  She is probably one of the most under rated acresses of our time.  Had she been the lead in Devil Wears Prada–now that would have made the movie memorable.  Close is one who deserves Oscars for every role she plays.

Our Why:	She’s got some chops, that one does.

Our Why:	Not only does he do great cartoons, his sense of humor is fabulous.

Our Why:	Exotic, dangerous, unique; and then, there’s that voice.  The voice of an Angel.

Our Why:	Good looking, good humor, good actor, and good movie picker.

Greta Van Susteren June 11, 1954 55	“I am a citizen fed up with the way the country is headed…While they may be well intentioned, I have lost my confidence that the professional politicians can turn things around. The U.S. Senate needs to be shaken up, and I am not afraid to do it.”
Our Why:	She’s the best thing that came out of the OJ trials.  Straight forward, honest, interesting and she asks the questions we actually want asked.  Thank you Greta.
George Foreman January 10, 1949 60	“It’s funny. I remember calling Ali and telling him, ‘If we have this fight, you and I will get $5 million,’ and he said, ‘Are you in? Then I’ll promote it.’ Then the fight was on. What could I do?”
Our Why:	Everything this God loving, great full man does is impeccable.
Helen Mirren July 26, 1945 64	“All you have to do is to look like crap on film and everyone thinks you’re a brilliant actress. Actually, all you’ve done is look like crap.”
Our Why:	She is a brilliant actress and man, she looks great.

Our Why:	Energy, passion, interesting, author, radio host, clean and sober, TV show–multi-talented. Number one best-selling author almost before his book was even released and his show is catching on fire, too.

Our Why:	Not only is she absolutely freakin’ gorgeous, she is smart, and she does a lot of humanitarian work.

Our Why:	The music, the looks, the charity work…yum.

Our Why:	Melissa isn’t the only classic he wrote–it opened the flood gate for music we will love forever.  He is a music icon–a legend in his own time.

Our Why:	“There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other,”  said Rowling. And, we ended up loving you J.K. Rowling after you shared what you liked with us.
